The InventAssist Program

The icons above and below represent the components of the revolutionary InventAssist Program.  Here’s a summary of each component:

The excitement of a new idea is soon followed by many questions summarized by this one that all inventors must ask and answer, “I Have An Idea, NOW WHAT?” The “light bulb” icon appears on our Introductory Booklet because it will answer the most important questions facing inventors; and it will give you a realistic understanding of your options as an inventor, and help you to avoid the pitfalls.

The CD/DVD album carries a “thumbs up” icon to imply encouragement and motivation. The CD will challenge you to “go for it” with your idea and to keep a positive attitude. The DVD gives you a front row seat as you learn from the founder of the Inventors Assistance League, Mr. Ted DeBoer, a former patent attorney and one of the foremost experts in the world of ideas and inventions.

The significance of the “padlock” icon found on your Protection Learning Guide #1 may be obvious … protection of your idea is your highest priority. However, of equal importance is the credibility you’ll have with manufacturers by using the same protection techniques they use. That is invaluable in the marketing process since they know the Laboratory Notebook affords mutual protection.

The “gears” icon appearing on Learning Guide #2 signifies the importance of identifying the right manufacturers who are not only capable of producing your idea, but also marketing it to the broadest extent possible. This manual will show you how to use an industry-based classification system that will enable you to easily zero in on the companies that are capable of producing and marketing you idea.

Once you’ve identified your target manufacturers, the next step is to get their attention. The “megaphone” icon on Learning Guide #3 implies a simple but dynamic method of communicating with them. You’ll learn how to develop a mailing piece or brochure that will give them enough information to make them curious without giving away your secret … those looking for new products will contact you.

Last, but not least, in the marketing process is profiting from your idea. Learning Guide #4 identifies that goal by its “money bag” icon. Here you’ll learn how to handle inquiries from manufacturers so they lead to meetings with their representative in your area. You’ll be able to disclose your idea to them under protected conditions. If your idea is to their liking, your first check is not far away!
